I thought I would share this nice story with you. A very talented lady in my team recently had two opportunities to move on (internally and externally) and she has turned them both down. When I asked her why, she said that she is so happy with me as a manager that she would be crazy to leave my team. Even though the other positions were higher paid jobs she felt that her career development was best served with me. When I told her that I could move on at any time she said "wherever you go I'm coming with you!"
Today she bought me a book, Robin Sharma's Leadership Wisdom. Her message inside read: ”Dear Gary, this just comes to say thank you for everything. You are an inspiring senior and a wonderful friend. Wish you great success in life"
I'm happy (and not too shy these days) to say this feedback is not in isolation and when something like this happens to me I think of you! You taught me a lot Saira and I always try to carry the message forward.

The recently conducted in-house seminar by Ms. Ayesha Tahir Masood, Global Management Consultants, was extremely useful for a number of reasons:
· Since there is no precedent of such a training workshop / seminar being conducted for AIM’s employees before, it stands out as a first
· Secondly AIM’s employees collectively were of the opinion that the management was keen on investing “in them” by developing their skills – and more so the seminar addressed any doubts / fears that had previously existed.
For its substance and presentation alone, as well as from a personal standpoint, the Seminar provided a different perspective to the business, and its historical references pacified most of the team members on various business counts.

I recently participated, along with my colleagues in the training, entitled Personal Development Skills, conducted by Mrs. Ayesha from Global Management Consultants. Training was arranged by our office to boost up our energy while we are facing a serious downturn /financial crisis.
Mrs. Ayesha knows her job. She did a wonderful, excellent job/Presentation which was full of energy , and yes it really helped us in getting out of the disaster, boost our moral towards work in a very positive way. Feels strong enough to start hitting clients with a new energy.
